My Resolutions

  • I'm not arguing with anyone about whose right, who had it the worst, or their perception of who I am.

  • I'm giving my energy and time to people and things that I genuinely enjoy, not busy work and space fillers.

  • I'm calling people out on toxic positivity lingo, I'm not allowing people to get away with saying, "It will be okay" or "It's not a big deal".

  • I'm not coddling people after I set boundaries with them. It's not my job to make people feel better about my boundaries.

  • I'm not making excuses for things that were my fault. As hard as it might be, I will say, "I apologize, it was me, and I will do better".

  • I'm making changes soon after I notice that changing something will improve my life. I'm not waiting for the beginning of the week, a new month, or a new year.
