Being a Therapist (and human) Has Taught Me
Humans are complex
It is possible to listen to problems without offering a solution
People want to be seen and hear without judgment from others
Experiences may be similar, but they are different
We have a lot of unlearning to do if we want to be well
Unintentional harm feels the same as being intentionally harmed
It's not my job to tell people whats a big deal for them or what’s not a big deal
People can change at any point in life. And for whatever reason they want to.It's okay not to have all the answers
Healthy people are people who are willing to evolve
It's not about you. People do things because of who they are, not because of who you are.
