Ways To Deal With People Who Are Emotionally Draining
Talk to them less frequently
Mute them on social media
Allow their calls to go to voicemail
Leave texts unread until you feel like addressing them
Unfollow them on social media
Designate a set time that’s best for you to talk
Allow them access based on your ability to tolerate them
Understand your emotions (what are you feeling and why?)
Be assertive about what they can do to make the interactions more pleasant (you can ask people to change, but you can't force them to change)
